-How did you decide to establish the «27 Wooden Accessories»;

We decided to set up the “27 Wooden Accessories” almost overnight. The idea came one day we received goods for “The Little Fabrica”, the clothing store of Ermina. We had received fabric bowties and between being funny and serious, we said "why not make a wooden one?" Due to my professional capacity as a technologist and designer of wood and furniture, it was something that could realize immediately. When we finally made it, the result was even better than what we had imagined. The product had resonance so within a very short time the “27” took off.

-How did you come up with the idea of making a bow made of ... wood?

The initial thought was to try and create something that is special, yet affordable for men. Something that you can purchase or can be brought to you as a gift. Of course we could not put aside the fair sex and the children as our original product, ie the bow-tie, can stand in various forms such as necklace, bracelet and of course all of these customized in a mini size series, which is very cute and special for our little friends.

-Which products does your range include today?

The “27 Wooden Accessories”, two years now after its foundation, has a full range of wooden accessories, wooden bow ties for men, women and kids, sunglasses and optical, watches, cuff links, earrings, pendants, buttonholes, tie-hangers, necklace, sugared almonds, handmade invitations, bracelets and as long as there are ideas the list never ends! Today, “27” exists in more than 60 stores throughout Greece and abroad, we export to Netherlands, Finland and was just recently launched in the UK and America.

-Why should someone choose a wooden bow?

Because someone can be a fashion and special accessory fan! The wide variety of wood we use, the fabric combinations and projects- there is always the possibility of tailor-made and inscribing-make the wooden bow a piece of accessory that we can have in our personal collection. At the same time our bow-ties are made in such a way so as not to weigh, being tiring or oppress the individual who wears them!

-What is the secret of your success?

Persistence, patience and "luck" because the world loved so much our products both for their aesthetics and quality. You have to certainly believe in what you do, to you have confidence in yourself and never lose the target. At the same time, the mobility that the internet offers you and the social media, if properly handled help in making your work known to millions of eyes. And finally if the customer who sees the product on the screen of his computer or their mobile, orders and receives the product seen, then you are reliable and will trust you again and will support you.

-What do your customers prefer most?

The stable love for our customers is our bow-ties! And the new entry that has really great demand are the wooden bracelets- bow-ties! They are ideal for all times!
