Avra Panousopoulos decided at 25, with two little children, to leave Athens and become a farmer. Her love for natural products and her spirit of creativity led her to the quick creation of original and successful flavors which became best sellers.

At the height of her production she reached in 2009, 170 different codes of sweet and savory delicacies hidden in beautiful jars. There is an unimaginable range of things in the Avra jars… Jams, appetizers, sweets, small sugar buns, and sesame pies, yoghurt pies, caramelized onions with mushrooms, sweet and sour cream, Florina peppers, green ketchup, green tomatoes and everything else awaking her love to bring out the taste of Greek products.

The uniqueness in her products is authentic flavor as she uses no preservatives. They are all made by hand, the same way mothers used to make them at home while our search for fresh raw materials never stops.
